Secret Pal Week at mywedding.com

So, at mywedding.com, we play hard and we play harder! I mean...we work hard and work harder! :)

But seriously, we have a great balance between working and playing! This week, is our first monthly "Secret Pal Week."

What is secret pal week? Earlier this month we picked names from a hat and filled out a questionnaire. For the last week of the month, we get our "person" daily gifts that serve as motivational trinkets to help them stay focused and inspired to reach their "goal."

I LOVE giving gifts ~ if you're my friend, i've probably given you a gift before!

Giving gifts is my favorite!

Anyway, I got to work this morning, and awaiting my arrival was this sweet present! I think it's sooo cute! (I have an oversized martini glass full of mini reese's cups..so, i'm thinking whoever my secret pal is...did a bit o' snoopin!) Thanks secret pal!!

Speaking of gift giving...and how much I LOVE giving gifts...you'd probably guess that I love party favors then! Absolutely! Each event I am a part of I do party favors for!!

Late last year, I was tasked with baby shower party favors in a blue and yellow theme.

Here's what I came up with:

Lindt chocolates in light blue foil wrapping and yellow foil wrapping, paired up with Stash tea in coordinating colors of light blue and yellow too. I packaged them in clear baggies and did a fold over cardstock cover label. Tasty treats are always a good idea for party favors! Pretty packaging that much more festive!

May in a Day!

First off...I just wanted to say "HI!" to all of my 3 followers! :) Get ready to be WOWed! haha! Seriously, Thanks for the follow!

There were so many fabulous events that took place in my May! I had my first Fancy Schmancy event, co-hosted a surprise bridal day & engagement party, and co-hosted a baby shower!

I am patiently waiting for photos from the Fancy Schmancy Party & from the Engagement Party!

I do have some decor shots from the Baby Shower though. Enjoy!

My dear friend decorated the nursery in an owl theme, so it was only right to carry the theme through to her shower. I'll post a picture of the invitation I made in an invitation series, a bit later.

Those party favors are miniature clip boards I made out of coasters from Michael's (from the $1 section,) a binding clip, a pad of post-it's, and mini wood pencils <-- from one of my fave online boutiques: Beacoup Favors! It was a project that took some time because of having to cover each coaster with owl themed paper, but it was soooo worth it! Everyone thought they were not just creative, but useful!!

I did party favors for a few children's birthday parties this month too. I am super excited to show them off in a favors blog! but, I need to upload photos...so, those are coming soon!

Ok..[yawn]..my creative brain is asleep! Till tomorrow!

Writing the first post is always the hardest! I have started like 3 or 4 blogs in the past and never got past the 'Congratulations! Your blog has now been created!' I am shamed too, since now those blog titles are taken up and someone who may want to use it for theirs....well, can't! (sigh)

Anyway....feeling pretty good so far.

I talk alot....so, this should be easy for me...you know, having my own blog. But...I feel sooo exposed! :) Ok...I'm over it now.

So, here's my thing... I've begun the journey into a personal business venture. And I call it ~

Wow! Cool! I have to admit I'm liking the look of that logo. I'm still working on it. But, for now, I think it'll look nice on my moo.com cards. :P
